What is Nutrition and how can it help you?

Nutrition is the use of food to nourish the body. This process involves breaking food down into its component parts including; fats, carbohydrates, proteins, minerals and vitamins. The key to good nutrition is getting all of these nutrients in exactly the right balance, and also in the right form for your body to use efficiently as apposed to converting into fat.

There isn’t one specific diet that is ideal, nutrition is not a “one size fits all” approach, as each person has different needs and requirements based on many factors, such as age, lifestyle, activity level,  etc.

Cellular Nutrition is the Foundation of the Health

Cells are the “building blocks” that make up a body, and each of the human body’s about 73 trillion highly specialized cells require clean air and water and essential nutrients — carbohydrates, lipids and sterols, proteins, vitamins and related food factors (such as phytonutrients), minerals, and enzymes. Good whole foods and good wholefood supplements provide the nutritional diversity and density that lay the foundation for good health.

What we aim to do here at Nutrition 4 Health, is to help you achieve your full potential by designing a nutritional program that is specifically tailored to your needs. One that is realistic and can fit into your lifestyle, taking into consideration the time you have available, and what you do and don’t enjoy eating. We will endeavor to provide local stockists of all the products we recommend making it as easy as possible for you to put into practice the dietary changes you need.
